An Internet without barriers – that is our goal. We work every day to remove barriers on our website so that everyone can use our content without any problems. In legal terms, we are fully compliant with Austrian law and the European Accessibility Directive, on which this declaration is also based.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

We have checked for ourselves where there are still hurdles on our website. A lot of things are already working really well, but we haven’t reached our goal with every point yet.
So we still need to make improvements in some areas.

Non-accessible content:

Where we reach our technical limits, we try to help out with simple solutions.

One example is the color contrasts. These are currently not optimal everywhere. So that you can still read everything clearly, you will find a small control element at the edge of the website. Click on it to significantly increase the contrast and make the text easier to read.

Font sizes:

If the font is too small for you, you can easily enlarge it. There is also an icon for this on the edge of the website. One click – and everything is displayed larger.

Buttons, buttons and text links:

Our buttons work perfectly with screen readers and can be easily controlled using the keyboard. Unfortunately, we still have a technical problem with the links in the text: We can’t add any additional titles at the moment.

Headings:

Some test programs do not recognize our headings correctly. This is due to the technical structure of the page.
However, this hardly changes anything for you: we have ensured a clean structure so that screen readers can also read the content without any problems.

Contents outside the scope of application:

  • You will also find content from external providers on our website. We cannot assess whether this content meets the accessibility requirements.
  • Older content that was already online before June 28, 2025 will remain as it is until it is replaced. As they are not covered by the new legal regulations, they will not be revised for the time being.

Contact & Feedback:

If you still notice something or get stuck somewhere, please get in touch with us. We will be happy to look into it and try to find a solution quickly.

The best thing to do is to write us a brief description of the problem and which page you were on.

Enforcement proceedings:

We have designed our website to be barrier-free to the best of our knowledge and with great care.

If you do encounter a barrier or feel disadvantaged, you can contact the responsible body directly. In Austria, the FFG is the right contact for this.

Whether you’re looking for affordable accommodation in Söll, planning an inexpensive vacation or want to discover our community hostel with its communal kitchen – we simply want you to find your way around our site just as easily as you will later in social living with us at the Wilder Kaiser.
