It may be a while before the forest floor is dry and the wonderful hiking trails in our uniquely beautiful region invite you to discover nature again. Nevertheless, we at Hotel Bergland S\u00f6ll, your vacation apartment in S\u00f6ll, would like to ring in the hiking season with our recommendation of the wild and romantic circular hike &#8220;Through the Rehbachklamm gorge to the Hinterschie\u00dfling Alm&#8221;!<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">Hiking tip &#8211; Rehbachklamm gorge<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">Good to know<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We start with some important information about this hike:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan 2 to 2.5 hours for your mountain experience, because<\/li>\n<li>The entire route is about 7 kilometers long.<\/li>\n<li>280 meters of altitude have to be overcome and<\/li>\n<li>the highest point of the circular hike is at 1.20 m above sea level.<\/li>\n<li>Anyone who would like more information about this hike can find it on the detailed description of the Wilder Kaiser region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">Let&#8217;s go for fun<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Our hike starts in Scheffau, our neighboring village. You can get there by hiking bus or by car &#8211; parking is available behind the Scheffau parish church in the center of the village. After following the road uphill for a few minutes, you will find the entrance to the small Rehbach gorge on your right.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">Now the hike can begin<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Now follow the deer stream along the forest path. The trail offers a variety of charming natural motifs &#8211; take your time to discover and enjoy the beauty of nature: cross the stream with its charming bridges and footbridges, listen to the rippling water of the small waterfalls, watch the play of light and shadow as the wind softly blows through the woods. The different shades of green of the fresh leaves of the plants will fill you with new strength and energy.<br \/>\nOnce you have reached the upper part of the gorge, the tour becomes a little more challenging: a steep climb now leads to the end of the gorge. Discover the mining tunnel from the 16th century on your way.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">The ascent is done!<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Once you have conquered the gorge, you are now faced with a vast alpine landscape! The impressive mountain backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser massif is reflected in the small pond. Let your gaze wander over the blooming meadows and the fascinating mountain peaks and follow the gently ascending path to the &#8220;Hinterschie\u00dflingalm&#8221; mountain hut, situated at around 1,000 m above sea level.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">The well-deserved break<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The &#8220;Hinterschie\u00dflingalm&#8221; awaits you with specialties from the region, some of which come from our own production! Our tip: try the homemade cake &#8211; it&#8217;s delicious! And those who like it hearty can also taste special culinary specialties here: Angus cattle are bred on the &#8220;Hinterschie\u00dflingalm&#8221; and so you will find Angus ham and Angus salami on the menu!<br \/>\nThe &#8220;Hinterschie\u00dflingalm&#8221; is open to guests from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 6 pm.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #127b7f;\">And now back to the valley:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Strengthened with regional delicacies and with renewed energy, you finally make your way back. Take the same path back to the edge of the forest via the pastures of the mountain pasture. Here you come to a gravel path leading into the valley. Follow the path through the forest &#8211; consciously enjoy the peace and quiet and the wonderful forest air! Your next point of reference is the &#8220;J\u00e4gerwirt&#8221;.
